The Municipal Golf Association of San Antonio enlisted Colligan Golf Design to restore "Old Brack."  Using old Tillinghast routings and research Colligan Golf Design totally reconstructed the course that is the foundation of municipal golf in Texas.  The final design has very traditional and geometric lines on tees, fairways and greens.  The bunkers have simple shapes with flat sand bottoms and grass faces; just as "Tillie" had intended.  The 113.6 acre site was restored to represent the original golf course, while taking into account today's advancements in maintenance and golf equipment.  CGD was very honored to be involved with the project.
