The home owners, or Pecan Plantation Owners Association decided that a renovation of the course was long overdue. CGD was selected from six firms interviewed to work with the club to compose a Master Plan. In 2012 the club decided they would like to renovate 18 greens and their surrounds along with the putting green. In addition several tees and fairway bunkers, which were on the Master Plan were added.
